Friends of Queen Elizabeth Park is a voluntary trust made up of members of the Kapiti Coast community.

The group reduces weeds and pests, as well as encourages research, protects historic features, and encourages low-impact recreation.

Projects include forest restoration through dedicated planting, stream and wetland restoration, work to improve biodiversity and the development of a bicycle track.
