predator free waikanae
Predator Free Waikanae is a community-driven initiative led by the Waikanae Lions Club, dedicated to making Waikanae a predator-free sanctuary.
The mission of their volunteers is to bring back the birds — every rat caught makes room for a bird.
With the support of the community, their goal is to install 1,000 traps over the next three years to reduce predators.
